Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. 8 months baby is having chest congestion and having sounds from the chest Cold and cough in the babies are because of viral infections which will take at least five to six days time to subside it is advisable to do steam inhalation frequently to liquefy the secretions as well put nasoclear saline drops in the nose of the baby

use nasal drops as Nasoclear saline drops..
give warm compress with ajwain potli on baby chest back..
or apply warm mustard oil on the baby chest back feet and gently massage at bed time..
