Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol fto the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usfually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

U can you give Calpol to your child or any other messages that you have available it is going to be 1.5 ML you can give it one time and after six hours you can repeat the medicine if it is required also keep ice cube gently or vaccination has been going to Help in the settling the swelling
