Q.

M child is 14 months old and was given chicken pox vaccine on Tuesday she has fever at intervals since yesterday is it normal?? She has stopped taking solids since Monday as she was down with viral according to the doctor she had a temperature of 104 on Tuesday night but was ok by Wednesday evening....she took a bit of solid on Friday and again had fever since Saturday which was 100.5 .....can some one plz suggest wether this is ok or not

A. Yes mmr was given along with chicken pox and doctor said that the fever might occur post 5 days

A. usually chickenpox vaccination does not cause any fever if MMR vaccination was given along with it can cause fever otherwise consult your doctor at once to get it examine to rule out the cause of fever
