Q.

Lateral ventricle size at 30 weeks.. During 30 weeks scan lateral ventricle size was 7.6 mm and we were told that below 10mm is normal. To be in safer side doctor asked us to check 15 days later. In the new scan the ventricle size was 8.7mm which is at 32 weeks. Doctors keep telling that this is normal as it is less than 10mm. But they want to keep checking the ventricle size till delivery. Please please let us know if it is normal to have 8.7mm at 32 weeks. if any one faced this problem.. please please advice. My gyno keeps telling it is normal but i was not convinced by her answer due to the way she answer. please please help

A. Kindly take the report and go for a second consult just to be sure. We can’t comment anything just by knowing the lateral ventricle size we need to see other parameters too.Write Your Answer Here
