Q.
Last month my baby had dengue after his recovery his platetlet become low .we consult hematologist she said it will recover automatically it take 6 months .but his platetlet are up and down in so worried what shall we do for that .suggest me

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. you should not worry as dengue is a viral infection so the body recovers in time and if the platelet count was reduced during this period it will recover as the infection will be over just give a proper balanced diet and treatment as advised by a doctor

See after dengue recovery take time. it depends upon body to body . add foods which increase blood in body. fruits like pomegranate, nuts like dates rich souce of iron which is good to increase blood. take care of her diet gradully plateleyt count increase.
