Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then gradually you can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods which can be ghiven are porridge of suji e sabudana can be prepared in breast milk or formula milk.
initially you can start with one or two tsp which can be graduallyc increased up till at least three meals in a day
Shruti SuranaMom of a 12 yr 1 m old boy4 years agoA. hi dear mom..after baby completes six months you can start solids...you can give ragi porridge ..khichdi...mashed banana...steamed applenor pear puree can also be given ....give few spoons of water after each solid meal. can use heat sensitive spoon from Babyhug to feed food to baby
