Q.
it's been 10 days my baby was born and I m breastfeeding mom but since I started breastfeeding my nipples are cut and sore and hurt so badly in every latch ....what to do????

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist2 weeks agoA. dear mum , improper latch is the most common reason for sore nipples and cut apply breastmilk especially hind milk to wound , let air dry loose cotton clothing no bra untill healing baby shd not just latch at nipple but maximum possible areola of breast shd b in baby mouth

Dipali WarfadeMom of 2 children2 weeks agoA. I had same time. You can ask your gynaecologist for a cream which will help you to heal the cracked nipple e.g. NipCare. If you apply the cream wash nipple before feeding with warm water. Also there come silicon nipple cover which can also help you while feeding to reduce the pain. But please don't stop feeding because of pain, it gets healed automatically while you feed.
