Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to give any health supplements or calcium or multivitamins to the child but if it is less than your doctor will examine and according to the deficiency the doctor will give medicine and tell till what time a supplement needs to be continued.
but it is at the same time advisable to go natural by giving diet as per age of the child which contains all the important nutrients and supplements.

usually you have to give only iron and vitamin d supplements to the child but that also in maintenance dosage and not as a deficiency dosage after medical consultation. c

Vitamin D is meant to be given for initial 12 months and after that you can stop giving it and if you need to continue giving these jobs after the age of 12 months also then you have to check with your doctor and if you haven’t quit then you can consult the doctor you can quit now
