ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. no you should not give anything at present to the baby.Till 6 months complete only breastfeeding or formula feed should be given after completing 6 months you should start with water along with Dal water and rice water only in continuation with breast milk after completing 7 months you should start with Semi solid food like vegetable soup for fruits purry and then slowly move on for solid food so that the babies digestion remains good

Before that, exclusive breastfeeding or formula is sufficient. Consult with your pediatrician for personalized advice based on your baby's development. if you have low breast milk supply then you can give formula milk. my cousin is giving Aptamil Gold formula milk to her baby. it is best substitute for mothers milk. it helps in digestion, boosts growth & immunity. Has prebiotics, HMOs, VitD, calcium & more. it has nutrients that support digestion, growth & development of baby. before giving it to your baby consult with your pediatrician and take suggestions
