is there any health or other issues if I switch infant formula brand (milk powder). I was using a brand which is not available in my current home location.

No it will not affect your baby’s health at all so yes you can switch the formula milk. When mother’s milk is not sufficient for baby than the best alternative of mother’s milk is formula milk. But there is no need to give anything else to your baby till your baby turned six months old
