Is there any effect on weight for a pre term

A. For some kids initially the weight gain is less but over the period the pick up but some kids pick up similar or better than a full-time child so initial six months to 1 year eight some kids have little bit of weight like this but eventually with a proper diet and growing age they come up to how it is meant to be and that would also completely depend on how premature the child is
