Is there a rule , can a school fail a student of 1 grade in final exam and make him set back in same class in any state in india.my son is in 1st grade.

In fact there is a rule where they cannot fail any child till the standard of 10th the government has the education board has revoked this thing where they can say that they can fail a child and they can force the child to repeat the class it doesn’t work like that child is extremely weak the school can suggest you that you should repeat the class or if the child is younger for that particular class and it is fine but they cannot fail a child push the child to repeat the class that is absolutely not the law
