Q.
Is the baby fart supposed to be totally odourless ? because as a newborn my daughter had no smell in her gas but since few days now she has some bad odour ( she is 2.5 month old ). Also she is pooping once in 3 days since past 2 week ...is that normal ? she is exclusively on breastmilk..

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. Bad smell in fart shows indigestion so as a breast feeding mom you must add hing while cooking meals and chew fennel also and avoid gassy fried junk foods and drink lots of water

But things are completely normal also I would like to tell us enjoy mentioning the child is passing motion in three days that means there is constipation problem which is normal and that is why the fart is very smelly so you can connect the two things very conveniently
