Q.

Is PCV vaccine compulsory for infants? In National Immunization Schedule its given compulsory only in some states in India and is not available in govt centers too.

A. there are many vaccines which are only optional vaccines just like pneumococcal vaccine but this is important vaccine if government is supplying to certain States in some States they are not supplying take the vaccine to the baby

A. PCV should be given to baby.. there are two types as PCV 10and PCV 13.. for two doses you can opt for PCV 10and second dose PCV 13.. refer to the first cry vaccination tracker for upcoming vaccine.. also update baby details in first cry vaccination tracker to get details regarding the upcoming vaccination..
