Is it safe to breast feed the baby lying down?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. there is no problem in giving breast feeding/ outside milk in lying position but at the same time you should keep the head of the child slightly elevated otherwised . if the child becomes uncomfortable during feeding then change the position of the child or burp the child for few minutes.
if the child is comfortable then you can continue to give breastfeeding in thed lying down position.
