Q.

Is it ok to have mucaine gel while breast feeding.. my baby is one month old.. and I have severe gastric issue

A. hello...yes all mild medicines are allowed... don't have any gastric foods...There are certain foods which should be avoided in breastfeeding...also as coffee and tea contain caffeine have only one or ywo cups max....also avoid chocolate spices (cinnamon, curry, chili pepper) citrus fruits and their juices, like oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruit strawberries kiwifruit pineapple the "gassy" veggies (onion, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, cucumbers, and peppers) fruits with a laxative effect, such as cherries and prunes...a daily cup or two of coffee is fine, but too much caffeine can interfere with your baby's sleep or make him fussy
