Is it ok for toddlers to have cough for 2-3 weeks?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold .
here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever .
it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely.
dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improving the next line of treatment will be inhaler therapy with mdi / nebulizer.
allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold weather/ cold water intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocdolate / packet preservatives food and sweet food also.
body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Yes it is but the most common reason that you can see behind that is going to be an allergy it happens sometimes due to allergy and sometimes due to deep rooted congestion every child is having any chances of having an allergy is much brighter as of now
