Q.

is it normal to have lump at place of BCG vaccine? it has been 1 month already BCG given. how much time it will take to vanish lump or should I concern to doctor?

A. yes bcg vaccination which is given at birth in the upper arm will form a swelling by one or maximum two months and then it will burst open and then pus will come out from it and after that it will become a scar mark. you have to take medical consultation if it days causing pain fever and discomfort to the child. also if the pus dxischarge is increasing or aggravating again you have to meet the doctor and locally you can apply t bact cream.
