Is it normal to get periods back after 5 months of delivery even tough I am exclusively breastfeeding my baby

A. of course dear. you may face irregularities in periods or amenorrhea till one year.. use effective contraceptive methods for child spacing. take iron calcium and multivitamins supplements regularly and protein powder with milk twice a day

A. Though certain health conditions may cause irregular periods, hormonal changes are the most common cause when you're breast-feeding. Once you start to ease up on breast-feeding, especially after the first year as your baby gains more nutrition from foods, your periods will start to normalize again.
