Q.

Is it normal for babies to have eye boogers?My 10 month old baby eyes have yellowish mucus like discharge at eye corners? Do we need to visit peadaritic ophthalmologist?

A. OK thanks everyone for your quick response. however I would like to add that the problem is from past few days only....it is not from beginning.

A. no not normal can be blocked nasolacrimal duct and it is advisable to consult your local doctor for proper examination and if it is need for appropriate investigations in this regard and far proper management of the problem

A. good evening yes it is not normal at this point of time it is usually common at the time of birth however if it is still persistent I would recommend that you should definitely try to visit a doctor for a check up
