is it necessary to take flu vaccine yearly.?

A. Hello , your baby boy is 4.5 years old and if you want to protect him from flues viruses then give him two doses stat and then one dose at every year

A. yes flu vaccine also known as influenza vaccine is very important for decreasing the chances of viral infection by at least 60% in your child. the first dosacge is given at the end of 6 months and the second dosage at the end of 7 months and then every year till completion of 5 years of age. previously it was an optional vaccine but now it is considered as an important vaccine for children.

A. The flu vaccine is a good idea for all families. It does not cause the flu and it helps keep kids and parents from getting sick. Getting the flu is worse than having a cold and can make a person sick for a week or more. Everyone 6 months of age and older should get vaccinated
