A. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children. But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out . Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cogld sponging with lukewarm water is also helpfulf . Doctor consultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .

A. What about 99.7 in a 6 week boy. Can I wait or should I give Crocin immediately?

A. Hello dear parent! It will gradually reduce. Try giving a single dose of paracetamol drops if required. Apply cold compress on the vaccinated area. Maintain a good personal hygiene. Continue feeding your baby well on demand. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil.
