Is it advisable to give gripe water to 6 months old baby?

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. you should give only breastmilk till completion of six months. after that you can give other liquids but instead of giving gripe water . colicaid drops are more safe. continue breastfeeding

SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 10 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi, not advisable. Baby should develop natural digestion power. So make sure there is a gap of two hours between each feed and burp your baby well after every feed that would be more than enough. Take a little coconut oil and massage on baby stomach clockwise and anticlockwise for couple of time. Do cyclic leg exercise.Write Your Answer Here
