is gripe water good to give for babies, my baby is pooping alternative days, i have given colid syrup, he will be quiet if we give colid syrup else he will cry a lot . am confused is it we need to give everyday

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. dear mum, you should avoid giving gripe water to your baby. it is unnecessary and dangerous. some of them also contain alcohol and opium like substances. they can cause infection to your baby.
it is fine if your baby is not pooping Every day. many exclusively breastfed babies poop once in 7-8 days, which is normal.
