SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 1 m old girl3 years agoA. Breast milk is the ideal food for babies with rare exceptions. If breast-feeding isn't possible, use infant formula. Healthy newborns don't need cereal, water, juice or other fluids your baby should have completed six months for any other foods like water or juice or even any other food. This is because only milk provides all the necessary nutrients. And early solid foods will lead to stomach upset and constipation.
