Q.

is exclusive breastfeeding an effective natural contraception? my baby is 2 months, I had a normal delivery and though I only breast feed I got my periods the next month after my delivery. Can I rely on breastfeeding as my method of contraception?

A. Hi, It is known to have contraception while breastfeeding but I would not to take it as only solution. Please continue your contraceptive measure safely. I would suggest to use Condom which is safest measure and talk about it to your partner. Continue breastfeeding till 6 month exclusively and don't forget to burp after every feed
