Q.
iron drop is compulsory for babies?. If yes, then please tell me know the doses.i have 8 months old baby,

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is very important to give iron supplements to the child because the diet before 1 year of age is having very less amount of iron and it is very common that if the child is not given iron supplements the child will suffer from iron deficiency anaemia so better toy continue iron supplements given by your doctor.h brand of iron medicine and dosage will be given as per child's requirement

No it is not compulsory it is only meant to be given if your child is having any kind of a deficiency then only the doctor is going to advise you with Iron drops so if you want to give it you please take an advice with your doctor they will advise you accordingly whether it is meant to be given or not
