ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. after 6 months, u can, give him waterMother's milk is complete food for the baby . The initial portion is watery that takes care of hydration and the later portion that is creamy and rich in facts will provide then necessary nutrition. So there is no need to give even water . Try to exclusively breastfeed the baby for first 6 months after birth.

but till that no need of extra water.
Babies get it through breastmilk.
so please feed your child on his demand.
keep your child in well vantileted room
dress your child lightly.
