Q.

In the vaccination chart provided by the hospital, there are three vaccines that need to be given for the 2-year-old like Typhoid TCV, Meningococcal Polysaccharide, Pneumococcal Polysaccharide. I do not see them in the immunization/vaccination chart provide by governemt as well the chart provided by first cry. Can anyone help me out in understanding whether these vaccines need to be given as mandatory to my baby or can be ignored

A. Will the hospital divide the vaccine dosage into parts due to which they added in the chart or it is just optional?

A. as per the current guidelines there is no need to give typhoid conjugate vaccine booster at 2 years of age if you have already given the typhoid vaccine between six months to 12 months of age and also if you have given pneumococcal vaccine before there is no need to give pneumococcal vaccine now and meningococcal vaccine is an optional vaccine
