Q.

in the initial 6 months after child birth, is it necessary that only mother's milk is to be fed to the baby? or can a combination of mother's milk and formula food be given? #AskTheExpert

A. if the mother is able to produce milk sufficiently then it is advisable to give breast milk only but if the supply is insufficient or if you to some other reason the mother is not able to feed then formula milk can be given

A. Hi dear Mother should exclusive breast feed her baby till six months. It is the complete food that contains all the essential nutrient required for the growth and development of the baby. If ur bm is insufficient then u can start with formula milk. Otherwise there is no need to give formula milk
