Q.

In the first weeks baby was breastfeeding for 40 to 50 mins every 3 hours, but in the third week he is feeding in only one breast for only 10 to 15 mins every 2 to 3 hours. and going fussy and crying if i try to switch breast during a feed ( tried only after he himself unlatched from the previous breast ). Is this normal ? or should I change the feeding pattern? he is urinitating before every feed. stool movement is also good. breast is always full before every feed and it starts to leak before and during a feed.

A. very important to see that position and attachment while breastfeeding the child is proper. if improper the child will continue to suck for long hrs without getting any milk meet lactational counsellor who will guide regarding this. see videos on you tube for breastfeeding position and attachment.d take plenty of water, home made diet, seasonal fruits and vegetables, milk for increasing breast milk for yourself.x take 15 to 30 days weight and growth assessment by the doctor.
