You can make different varaitions such as make a puree of vegetables and add it to the batter and make colour full ones such as with carrot, beet root , spinach, same way turmeric can be added.
Apart from that you can make the batter with red rice, or brown rice, also you can add millets such as ragi as well
NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy11 months agoA. hello you can give your child normal idli that you prepare for the family which would be safe and good for the child and you can prepare different varieties of idli or make it more healthy and delicious by adding vegetables like carrot which would also be a good option
