Q.

if the child does not eat any of the fruit then what can we give him instead

A. dear mum, there is no substitute for fruits. children can be picky eaters till 5-6 years. set a positive example for your child, by having all healthy foods. create a conducive environment for building healthy eating habits. offer choice between two fruits any one of which you may want him to try. yourself eat the fruit that you want him to try and explain its texture, flavour to the kid and ask whether he would like to give it a try. don't be pushy but be gently encouraging remember it's a phase it will pass.
