if my baby suffers from fever due to vaccine what is the medicine to be given ? because crocin drops will not be working as she is more than 10 kgs. please suggest a generic medicine for fever with dosage

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site. d
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 ddays meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
