A. Hello good evening !! Yes there are high chances of getting Covid as these days second wave is spreading more compared to earlier. So close contact will effect. But positive mother can breast feed but have to follow necessary safety precautions. Double masks (N95, surgical rather cloth masks) maintain distance , doesn't come in contact with your face and baby face Sanitize your handd,/wash hands frequently. Avoid touching unnecessarily, kissing, hugging just give feed and do diaper changing, cleaning if you have other family members help then you can just breast feed and rest leave it to other family members (negative). Covid doesn't spread through breast feeding.
