iam mother of 1 yr 4 months baby, can I take the vaccine for covid , iam breast feeding mother pls do suggest

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. it is very important that the mother should also get protection and you should definitely go for vaccination as per my opinion as per the Government of India they are not recommending vaccination for lactating mothers but there are very good number of studies which suggest that lactating mothers can take the vaccination so the end decision will be yours and you can discuss this with your doctor

Hello dear actually in this current scenario many doctors have different opinions some are saying to not to take it and other are saying that it's a immunity booster so u should definitely go for it but nothing is confirmed so u should wait for few days or get it clear from ur personal gynecologist
