Q.

I've started giving cerelac and daal paani to my 6 month old. Today his poop was very tight and solid but not painful. Is it normal or is it due to indigestion or lack of water in his body?

A. Hello dear parent Cerelac itself can cause hard stools and dal too adds on to it. It is advisable that you increase the water intake and also include ripe banana or some fruit

A. hi yes ,it is normal to get change in poop consistency , texture or color after giving semisoild food to a child. so if a child is not showing any discomfort,no need to worry about it much.
