Q.

I used to have low bp before my pregnancy..my blood pressure was 130/90 during my 7th month of pregnancy and my doc put me on Labetalol twice a day and then thrice na day at the end of my pregnancy...After my c section Imy pressure dropped and I was advised to take Labetalol only once a day..Since my pressure was coming normal for a month after delivery I stopped taking the medicine..but now sometimes my bp is normal and for consecutive 3 day it is coming 130/95.. pl advice..do I have to take the bp medicine lifelong??

A. better consult your gynaecologist for routine check up and do all routine investigation required And start treatment as advised by your doctor sometimes you need to continue medications even after child birth
