i used cefpodoxime antibiotic syrup to my baby in more dosage .he got red rashes on skin what to do is it serious .how to treat these rashes

I think the medicine has reacted and that is why your child is having the rashes either due to heat in the body or the medicine has reacted not suiting the system of your child as of now stop giving the medicine check with your doctor and start applying calamine lotion on the affected area
