Q.
i took I pill emergency contraceptive pill today.. can I breastfeed my baby.. after how many hours can I feed.. she is 19 months old.. please help

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 4 years agoA. yes you can feed your baby after 1 hour after taking the medication and continue the breastfeed as usual rest of the day time during the procedure have adequate water intake to avoid chances of dehydration

Ya You can feed your child immediately also you take a contraceptive pill it is not going to make any difference to your child neither is going to make any difference on your breast feeding these medicines are absolutely safe and you can continue breastfeeding with that
