Q.

I took a sugar test when I am 4 months pregnant I got sugar f 88 and pp 96 .Is that normal ? should I have to take any glucose screen test again now I'm 8 months pregnant.

A. hi mom sugars were normal at that time but it can change in 3rd trimester better to do test after doctors advise stay safe and healthy

While the fasting blood sugar (FBS) of 88 mg/dl and postprandial blood sugar (PPBS) of 96 mg/dl were within the normal range during your fourth month of pregnancy, it's important to monitor your blood sugar levels throughout your pregnancy. Your doctor may recommend a glucose tolerance test (GTT) again at this stage of your pregnancy to screen for gestational diabetes.This test involves drinking a sugary drink and then having your blood sugar levels measured at intervals.
