Q.

I started massaging my baby with mustard oil and after massaging I gave her a bath. After some time my baby had rashes on her body. What should I do?

A. hey, I think your massage oil is not suitable for baby skin or maybe your baby skin is very sensitive. I would suggest you use Aveeno Soothing Relief Moisture Baby Cream. It contains the goodness of colloidal oatmeal + portulaca extract. It helps prevent and protect your baby’s skin from dryness.

A. hi dear avoid mustard oil.. try Johnson's baby massage oil it is pure, gentle and mild. This oil is non-sticky and absorbs very fast, leaving the skin shiny.

A. Okay Ma’am just to be on the safer side I’m going to recommend you to apply calamine lotion on the entire body and avoid using mustard oil because sometimes during the summer season mustard oil can react to the skin of the child by generating heat and friction and because of that the rashes may have happened
