i read and heard that if u have irregular periods then for pregnancy confirmation, u should wait till 40 to 45 days if periods not come in between, is it correct

After delivery period will be irregular due to.harmonal fluctuation. but its not like that that you have to wait till 40 to 45 days some time it happen but if pregnanacy is there it can also done within 40 days depend upon your cycle. better to consult your gyanae
