Q.

I'm now 37 week pregnant.taking 10 unit insulin and 2 tablet obimet SR 500mg morning and 1 tablet in night.my FBS 91& 1 hr ppbs is 156, planning to do c-section in 38 week,how long should I continue my medicine.do diabetics go after delivery?

A. The insulin will be continued until delivery and usually after delivering the diabetes will go away completely but you have to keep monitoring as for the very few people it may continue after delivery alsoWrite Your Answer Here

A. its better to consult your gynaecologist for routine check up and do all routine investigation required And start treatment as advised by your doctor only your consultant gynaecologist can guide you
