Q.

I m mother of 5 month old baby.... I m covid positive.....i m allowed to breastfeed... As I m given 12mg antibiotic dose... But is it advisable to go 4 higher dose and stop breastfeed And most of them r telling me... Try formula for 3 days nd see whether she's able to stay without breast milk... Pls suggest

A. See If the doctor has advised you to continue breastfeeding the child then continue it that way and in case you do not want to breastfeed you can express your feet and give it to the child that way that is also healthy and if you have good breastfeed then don’t switch to formula and do not increase the dosage of the medication without consulting your doctor
