I m mother of 4month baby boy. My mother-in-law has tested +ve for HbsAg. Can it affect my baby?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. yes it can here you can follow your doctor advise and he will explain you in a proper manner after doing a proper assessment as it's important . So it's better to get the solution in a correct way . You can also consult onlihgne to a doctor for the same as a detailed discussion can be done .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl3 years agoA. If It is contagious then it is a matter of concern that you’ll have to ask your doctor to figure out whether the issue is contagious or not if it is contagious and you need to really watch it otherwise it would not be an issue
