Q.
I'm having 48 days old baby boy.. he is not taking enough feed.. he will l hardly have 5 mins of feed then he stops taking feed.. his urine and feces outputs are normal and he is gaining good amount of weight but he is not taking milk for more than 5 mins.. while taking feeding he starts seeing the surrounding, smiling and enjoying it then he stops taking feed.. is tis normal.. pls help me.. I'm really worried

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear parent, this is absolutely normal. Feeding pattern varies from baby to baby. Some babies feed for shorter duration and some longer duration. As you have said that your baby’s urine and stool output is normal and your baby is gaining good amount of weight, so do not worry.
