Q.

I m 5 months postpartum. I had thyroid issue before pregnancy n during pregnancy it was normal I got my results today when I again got it checked. my t3 n t4 are normal but tag is 17.536. what is the reason that tsh is high n t3 and t4 are normal??

A. Even if t3 and t4 levels are normal ,it’s tsh that’s more important and as the levels are elevated you are supposed to continue taking the medications and also increase the dose. Consult an endocrinologist

Hello ma’am Sometimes it can increase after your delivery also these things are completely unpredictable so I cannot give you a specific reason for the same it would be better for you to discuss it with your doctor for a better understanding in maybe the doctor would be able to give you the right reason as well
