Q.

I'm 36 weeks pregnant and my blood group is B negative. Today I checked my CBC and found that the hemoglobin level is 9.6. Doctor asked me to do 1 unit of packed cell blood transfusion. Is my hemoglobin level that low to get the blood tranfusion being done?

A. Its Not that Lo also because the minimum amount that you should maintain some way round 12 it’s about two units like that we should calculate it but it is still okay but if your doctor is advising you to go for it then there has to be some reason plus your blood group is a different kind of blood group I believe
