Q.

I’m 20 weeks pregnant. Yesterday, I went for my anomaly scan, and the report showed that my cervical length was 2.56 cm. Today, my doctor did another scan through the vaginal route, and it showed 2.8 cm. I don’t understand which one is correct. Should I be worried about this, and what precautions should I take?

A. You should go ahead with the lower version of out of the two figures and that’s completely fine and what your doctor suggesting go ahead with it progesterone is very very safe to be given during this time and it’s important I would advise you take good rest and avoid taking stress anxiety and doing unnecessary things which will hassle and avoid doing too much of work which is more of your strength and energy consuming

A. Cervical length 2.56–2.8 cm is borderline. Rest, avoid heavy work, stay hydrated, and follow doctor’s advice. Regular monitoring ensures timely preventive measures.
